  1. Welcome to Icondraw for Windows 3.0 Shareware Version 1.2

  5. This is a shareware program, which I developed as a utility to help others
  6. in their pursuit of an ultimate graphical interface, fitting their needs to
  7. the fullest extent.   I also developed it for personal reward.  Now I would
  8. like to share it with others.  
  9.  
  10. ***A special Enhanced Version will be marketed in the NEAR future and 
  11.    should be available at your local Software Vendor.***

  13. This application is an icon drawer, where you can make your own 16-color, 32x32 
  14. pixel icons which fit into the PROGMAN perfectly.  The following lists the steps 
  15. required to change an icon in the PROGMAN (Program Manager):
  16.  
  17. 1. Save the Icon to a file with an .ICO extension.
  18. 2. Click on the icon in the PROGMAN which you wish to change ONCE.
  19. 3. Choose File Properties.
  20. 4. Click on the "Change Icon.." button.
  21. 5. Type in the name of the icon with the full path. (e.g. "c:\windows\myicon.ico").
  22. 6. Click on OK, then on OK again.

  24. PRESTO! you will notice that the icon you specified now is visible in the 
  25. PROGMAN.

  27. Version 1.2 Improvements:
  28.  
  29. 1. All bugs are fixed as far as I know.  Otherwise the features are the
  30.    same.
  31.  
  32. The following features will hopefully be available in a Non-Shareware 
  33. version which will be available soon at your local Software Distributor:
  34.  
  35. 1. A Grid.
  36. 2. An Edit Undo feature which allows you to undo the last action.
  37. 3. Full-Fledged Manual with some example icons.
  38. 4. The window size fixed so that it does not go off the screen in EGA res.
  39. 5. Possibly Transparency.

  49. marketing company, and will be available at your local Sofware Vendor in the 
  50. near future.
